Identity is partly shaped by perceptions: who we are is defined by our experiences in relation to others and the world in which we live. This image is representative of this relationship and how time spent with nature has the power to mould our identity. By taking the time to look beyond the immediate focus we see how identity is influenced by external factors. I chose this image for the exhibition because of the way it revealed the human form taking shape from within its natural surroundings giving it clarity and an identity. (01/18/2008)

It was a busy and successful exhibition at the heritage festival. I thoroughly enjoyed talking about my design work with everyone from students to professionals. There is a growing international awareness and interest in this technique as a new media for creative expression that employs quality production techniques to produce affordable investment art. Enquiries from individuals through to designers, developers and businesses reflected this. I will keep you posted about future events and exhibitions. Thank you for your support. VIBRANT RED Lifestyle Designs will be launching a new range of images as part of The KZN Heritage Arts Festival. Work will be exhibited in the Artists in Motion area, near the climbing wall, at Gateway Theatre of Shopping from September 27th to 30th 2007. The Vibrant Red stand will be opposite the entrance to the IMAX theatre. We look forward to seeing you there.(09/06/2007)
